Dine LA Restaurant Week returns August 14 through August 28, 2026, offering a chance to explore some of Los Angeles’ most interesting dining rooms through special prix-fixe menus.
From poolside Tuscan dining in Downtown to French-Mediterranean flavors overlooking Santa Monica, these six restaurants offer plenty of reasons to arrive hungry.
One. Ristorante Per L’Ora — Italian Cooking With a Downtown L.A. Accent
Dinner at Ristorante Per L’Ora comes with a side of Downtown history. The restaurant occupies Hotel Per La’s spectacular Giannini Building, originally constructed in 1922 as the Los Angeles headquarters of the Bank of Italy, founded by Amadeo Giannini and later transformed into Bank of America. Rather than treating Italian cooking as something frozen in tradition, Per L’Ora gives it a distinctly Los Angeles perspective, with seasonal California ingredients and house-made pastas alongside creative dishes that move between Italy and Southern California. Two. H&H Brazilian Steakhouse — Come Hungry, Leave Happy
At H&H Brazilian Steakhouse, restraint is probably best saved for another night. The Downtown restaurant brings the Brazilian churrasco tradition to Seventh Street, with gaucho-style service built around fire-roasted meats carved tableside. Founded by Brazilian entrepreneur and sommelier Henrique Huyer, H&H opened its original Downtown location in 2019 and built its reputation around premium cuts such as picanha, filet mignon, ribeye and lamb, accompanied by its market-table selections and Brazilian sides. For Summer Dine LA, H&H is offering a $55 dinner, good time to experience the steakhouse and its normally higher-priced churrasco format. Three. LouLou — A Taste of the French Riviera Above Santa Monica
LouLou feels like someone dropped a little piece of the French Riviera onto a Santa Monica rooftop. Perched atop Santa Monica Place, the restaurant combines French and Mediterranean influences with California ingredients in a colorful indoor-outdoor setting overlooking the coast. Its broader menu offers French classics, while a rooftop atmosphere just made for brunch, cocktails and sunset dining as much a part of the experience as the food itself. LouLou has also embraced Dine LA with dedicated prix-fixe menus featuring separate three-course lunch and dinner experiences built around dishes such as escargot, mussels, quiche Lorraine, pesto spaghetti, poulet rôti and classic French desserts. Four. Florence by the Water — A Little Tuscany
There’s something wonderfully unexpected about finding a slice of Tuscany beside a swimming pool in the middle of Downtown Los Angeles. Florence by the Water opened at Hotel Figueroa in February 2026 from Francesco Zimone and Chef Giuseppe Gentile, the team associated with L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele. Its regular menu celebrates Tuscan and Italian traditions with handmade pastas, pizzas, seasonal dishes, grilled branzino and the restaurant’s signature bistecca alla Fiorentina. It’s poolside at the historic Hotel Figueroa, making it an especially attractive stop before a game or concert at nearby L.A. LIVE and Crypto.com Arena.

Five. The Wine Station — A Neighborhood Wine Bar Worth Toasting
Wine is naturally the star at The Wine Station, but the food gives plenty of reasons to stay for dinner. Created by a team of local wine professionals, the intimate Downtown wine bar pairs its hand-selected bottles with shareable plates created by its French chef from Saint-Barth, giving the menu a distinctly European feel. The restaurant sits on Hope Street near Crypto.com Arena, making it an easy pre-concert or post-work destination.

Six. Baar Baar — Indian Cuisine With a Modern Los Angeles Twist
Baar Baar makes Indian food feel both familiar and completely new. Chef Sujan Sarkar’s Downtown restaurant approaches Indian cuisine through a contemporary lens, using traditional spices, techniques and regional inspirations in modern small plates and composed entrées designed for sharing. The restaurant is also known for a cocktail program inspired by Indian flavors and Bollywood culture, making the bar almost as much of an attraction as the dining room. Located on Ninth Street in Downtown, Baar Baar offers a more polished interpretation of Indian dining while still keeping the bold spices and layered flavors at the center of the experience.
