What better place to enjoy a Sunday indulging in delicious food, sipping on refreshing drinks, and supporting a vital cause? Thanks to Boomtown Brewery, Downtown Los Angeles continues to be the hub for some of the city’s most delicious and impactful events. The upcoming Summer Sampler, coming to the Arts District, is a prime example.

Union Station Homeless Services and Boomtown Brewery are collaborating again to bring this culinary festival to life. Produced by the team behind the annual Masters of Taste festival, this highly anticipated gathering is a true all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink experience, providing a unique opportunity for guests to enjoy a curated selection of some of the city’s most interesting food and drink combos, all with a single purpose: ending homelessness.

The lineup includes Montebello’s Vchos, Los Feliz Yuca, the popular fried chicken from Box Chicken from West Los Angeles, the flavorful dishes of Asian Street Food, and the authentic Thai cuisine of Emporium Thai from Westwood.

For those with a taste for something downtown, Joyce from the Financial District and Maple Rock from Grand Central Market will offer summer samplers as well.
Sweet tooth’s can enjoy sweet treats from Lark of Santa Barbara, Kinrose, a popular ice cream shop in Pasadena and Encino, and Pucker Up lemonade. Good Intentions Coffee will also be on hand for a quick caffeine boost.
No summer is complete without a custom glass from Boomtown Brewery, pouring a variety of their old-world brews, including the classic Bad Hombre lager and the refreshing Nose Job IPA. Besides craft beer, the event will also feature a selection of wines and expertly crafted alcohol-free beverages.

Eating for a Cause… Please and Thank you!
Beyond the delicious food and drink, the true purpose of the Summer Sampler is to support Union Station Homeless Services. This is a “Savor for a Cause” event, and 100% of all proceeds are funneled directly to USHS, one of the most impactful social service providers in the Los Angeles area.
For over 50 years, the organization has been a beacon of hope, providing crucial housing and homeless prevention services in the San Gabriel Valley and beyond. A portion of the funds raised from this specific event will also be dedicated to providing much-needed assistance to local residents who have been directly impacted by the recent Eaton Fire, further highlighting the event’s deep-rooted commitment to community care.

General admission tickets start at $75, providing a fantastic value for the all-inclusive experience. For those who wish to offer more substantial support, sponsorship packages begin at $250 and include multiple tickets along with branded merchandise such as a pint glass, fan, and tote bag.
The event is for those 21 and over, with an ID check required at the door to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all attendees. While street parking and paid lots are available around Boomtown, attendees are encouraged to use rideshare or carpooling for a smoother visit. www.events.humanitix.com/the-summer-sampler.com
