Pi pizza

Attention all pizza lovers! Today at PI^LA, the hidden gem located in the historic Harlem Alley, they’re offering a delicious deal you won’t want to miss. Dine-In Only, Buy One Slice and Get Another for $3.14, in honor of Pi Day!

This isn’t your average pizza joint, folks. Chef Fred Eric, the mastermind behind Vida, Airstream, Olive, Liberty Grill, and 24-Hour Retro Diner Fred62, has returned with an entirely new concept of LA-style pizzas at PI^LA. And we’re not just talking about your standard pepperoni and mushroom toppings – Chef Fred’s pizzas are topped with smoked salmon, potato gratin, pulled pork belly, and roasted pumpkin, among other unique and mouthwatering options.

But it’s not just the toppings that make PI^LA’s pizzas stand out. The dough is made from sprouted flour, cured for 72 hours, and mixed with Kombu water. And the pizzas are cut into four-inch squares, Detroit-style, with a crispy burnt-cheese crust that will leave you wanting more.

The pizzas at PI^LA are named after classic cars and pay homage to the diversity of Los Angeles. For example, the LAURIE’S GALAXY is a vegan pizza with baba ganoush, hummus, and Mediterranean veggies, while the IMPALA LOW RIDER is made with mole chicken and Oaxacan cheese.

To top it all off, PI^LA is located in a hidden spot in the Historic Harlem Alley, and the entrance might be easy to miss if you’re not familiar with the area. But once you find it, you’ll be transported to a retro diner with silver vinyl booths, Shepard Fairey murals, an overall speakeasy vibe and some of the most delectable pizza slices you’ll ever sink your teeth into. #thankuslater
