KCRW will host its annual Masquerade party with an exploration of Downtown’s own ancient Mayan Temple taking place on October 25th. The event is exclusively for guests aged 21 and over, and all ticket purchases are considered donations to KCRW.

The Radio5 Bollywood Halloween party, known as “Bollywood Demons,” will take place on Saturday, October 27th. This year’s event, which has consistently sold out in the past, will be held at the hellish subterranean speakeasy known as the Continental Club in the Old Bank District. The underground celebration kicks off on Halloween night, with doors opening at 9:00 PM. Last year, the event drew 1,100 guests, making it one of the most popular Hindi Halloween parties in the area. The entry includes special drink offers from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and those with October birthdays can enjoy complimentary entry by showing valid ID at the door.

As if the mysterious death of its previous owner in 2017, and the equally mysterious crash of its iconic Christian cross falling to the ground and bursting into pieces during Andrew Meieran’s re-construction wasn’t enough, Clifton’s Republic presents “Spirits and Spirits,” a Halloween event taking place on October 26th should be enough to scare the hell out of all who attend. This dark haunted forest kin to a summer camp in Sleepy Hallow promises a blend mystery and history as guests explore the six-story landmark, filled with dark corridors, taxidermy and complimentary welcome cocktails.

Attendees can enjoy dark burlesque performances by the Rhythm Howlers, DJs spinning music, and live magic throughout the night. For an additional $200, guests can participate in a séance circle hosted by Clifton’s resident medium, Matt Bruce, offering a unique glimpse into the paranormal. VIP guests will also receive exclusive access to the Tree Tops, a section of Clifton’s not yet open to the public.

Ancient dance rituals to take place on October 26th, as for the first time ever, the Mayan Warrior Galaxyer is making its debut in Los Angeles. Celebrating a new chapter under City Hall’s beacon of light, the event promises to bring a sense of magic and creativity to the city.

Tomb raiders will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the artistry and craftsmanship lost within the ruins of this mystic Mayan temple once known as Gloria Molina Grand Park.

Halloween Rave by Electroton at Exchange LA


Produced by Electroton, this Halloween Rave will unfold on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at this iconic Historic Core nightclub. The old currency exchange bank will host a night of House and Techno beats. Skeletons come out do the closet to open the doors 9 PM sharp, and entry is restricted to guests with skin of 21+ age with a valid ID.

Tight bones can secure free entry with an RSVP before 11 PM, but for guaranteed access, loose bones know early bird presale tickets are the way to go, as the event is expected to reach capacity.

A Real Halloween Night of Thrills Thursday, October 31

Halloween Costume Party at Elevate Lounge

Produced by party legends Endless Nightlife, this Halloween Costume Party will take place on Thursday, October 31. The event promises a spooktacular night filled with dancing and excitement, featuring live DJs spinning Top 40, Hip-Hop, 2000s, Reggaeton, and EDM. The venue, located on the 21st floor, offers stunning views and a true non AI feeling of truly being nestled in the heart of downtown Los Angeles.

Witches and Warlocks enjoy free entry until 10:30 PM with an RSVP; those without an RSVP will be charged the full cover fee. Early bird tickets are available, and additional tickets can be purchased at the door once online sales conclude.

“DIVORCE – HALLOWEEN” at Bar Franca


Old Bank District sets the stage for the Bride of Frankenstein and all her bridesmaids for this special one-night event returning to Bar Franca on October 31st. This DTLA queer 90s dance party, previously featured in the Louis Vuitton travel guide and described as “rowdy” by the LA Times, invites attendees to relive the excitement of past DIVORCE parties.

Same sex couples and those still wishing for matrimony are encouraged to wear their sexiest or scariest costumes and can look forward to a night filled with dancing, prizes, and surprises. The event will feature DJ Couples Therapy, consisting of Gina Young (SORORITY) and Sorrell Scrutton (sosoinc.), along with guest DJ Sarita Linda. 

A costume contest will reward the best-dressed attendee with tickets to a Goldenvoice concert. 

Happy hour specials will be available from 8 PM to 9:30 PM and again from 12:30 AM until close, offering $8 drinks. Gogo dancers will also be present, and attendees are encouraged to bring tips.

Mummies and daddies live for this Halloween show at the Moroccan Lounge in Los Angeles on October 31st. This ultimate Halloween rave in Los Angeles is taking place on October 31, 2024, at 9thirtyLA.

Haunt Massive promises a spooktacular experience, showcasing Los Angeles’ newest underground rave venue. The event will feature an electrifying lineup of music genres, including House, Techno, Dubstep, Riddim, and Hardstyle, ensuring a non-stop, heart-pounding experience. The main stage will boast high-powered lasers, a giant LED screen, and fog machines, creating an immersive visual spectacle. Additionally, a Silent Disco will offer a unique twist, allowing guests to switch between multiple music channels through wireless headphones for a personalized audio experience.


Attendees can expect a fully decorated venue that captures the Halloween spirit, with giant pumpkins, eerie lighting, cobwebs, and gothic décor. Scary times on October 31, 2024 back at Hotel Figueroa. The event will feature signature Halloween drinks and music from special guest DJs. Attendees are required to dress in Halloween costumes that are red carpet ready, with the doorman having discretion over attire.

Friday Night: Pop Culture Halloween Soiree
Kicking off the weekend, the Pop Culture Halloween Soiree invites guests to channel their favorite characters from movies, TV shows, and beyond. Inspired by Beetlejuice, this themed night will offer food and drink specials, with a live DJ setting the perfect spooky atmosphere.

Saturday Night: A Haunting Edition of Bubbles & Beats
Saturday brings a haunting edition of Bubbles & Beats, where DJ Shai will provide electrifying music starting at 7 PM. Dance the night away surrounded by eerie vibes and haunting beats.

Crawling every weekend with LA Club Crawl 

The Halloween Los Angeles Club Crawl, hosted by Los Angeles Club Crawl and LA Epic Club Crawls provides free entry to some of the best clubs in LA. This event takes place on October 25, 26, 31, and November 1 and 2, starting at 9 PM.

Zombie Crawl takes over the streets of downtown LA on Saturday, Oct. 26th. Zombie survival kits include a map of all participating LA bars and nightclubs with listed entry and drink specials. Included in each kit is a book of drink vouchers for discounts and free Halloween welcome shots at select venues including Pattern Bar, Falls, and Reserve, with performances from various DJs. The crawl includes express entry to all venues, drink discounts, and professional party hosts who will guide attendees through the night.

Tickets start at $45+ per person. Guests can check in at the first venue listed on the lineup posted on the event website. The organizers, Los Angeles Club Crawl and LA Epic Club Crawls, have provided this experience since 2013.
