We Don’t Always Leave Downtown, But When We Do…It’s for Chef Tony Dim Sum

Located in the historic Bear Building built in 1929, Chef Tony He of Chef Tony Dim Sum, is creating the same masterful Guangdong Cantonese experience he’s been presenting since the age of 15.

The Pasadena marks Chef Tony’s second location in the USA, adding to the three other Chef Tony restaurants in Canada.

At Chef Tony Dim Sum, guests will not see rolling carts, instead, all of Chef Tony’s dishes are made-to-order and include ingredients such as freshly shaved black truffles and gold leaf touches.

Dim sum is meant to be shared with family and friends while eating small plates family-style around the table, and the term “dim sum” literally means “touch your heart” in Chinese.
