Homeboy Industries hosted its 23rd Annual Lo Máximo Gala, on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the JW Marriott LA Live in Los Angeles. The celebration of kinship, community, and the extraordinary individuals honored those who have transformed their lives through Homeboy Industries, the largest gang rehabilitation and re-entry program in the world.
Actress, activist, and Homeboy Industries board member Jane Fonda returned as host for the evening, along with friends – actors Camilla Belle, and comedian Pete Holmes. Homeboy Industries also welcomed a special musical performance by Grammy-nominated singer Aloe Blacc.

“Lo Máximo means ‘the best,’ and Lo Máximo is an evening celebrating the best of us – our community of kinship and all of the homegirls and homeboys, the brave people who walk through our doors to transform their lives, the lives of their families, and their communities,” said Father Greg Boyle, Founder of Homeboy Industries.
All proceeds raised from Lo Máximo go directly into Homeboy Industries programs in service of its mission to provide hope, training and support to formerly gang-involved and previously incarcerated people.
The night also spot lit this year’s key honorees, Homeboy Hero: Huge Gonzalez, Homegirl Hero: Kanaka Luna-Jennings, and Community Honoree: Thomas J. Vozzo.
