Developing the Code to Generational Wealth – 5th Annual Black Tech Link Fest Coming in September

Can a community event celebrating health, wellness, and technology empower Black entrepreneurs and contribute to generational wealth?

Black Tech Link, a San Diego-based nonprofit, focuses on advancing economic development within Black communities through its Small Business Mastery Program. This initiative provides entrepreneurs with comprehensive training, essential tools, and technical assistance to establish sustainable, contract-ready businesses. The organization’s mission centers on enabling Black business owners to thrive locally while expanding their influence regionally and nationally, securing contracts, creating jobs, and strengthening entire communities.

The 5th Annual Community Health and STEM Fest, hosted by Black Tech Link, marks a significant milestone, celebrating five years of impactful work. Scheduled for Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the San Diego College of Continuing Education – Educational Cultural Complex Campus, the event carries the theme “Health is Generational Wealth.”

This free, public event, running from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, offers a dynamic, family-friendly experience centered on health, wellness, and innovation in science and technology. Attendees will engage in STEM activities designed to spark curiosity among youth and families, participate in fitness workshops with live demonstrations promoting active lifestyles, and attend wellness talks addressing mental health, nutrition, and holistic care.

Meet Nurse Alice

Health screenings and resources will be available to support community well-being, while music, food vendors, and giveaways create a festive atmosphere. Local organizations, small businesses, educators, and health professionals will serve as exhibitors, providing services, resources, and opportunities for involvement in community health and STEM education initiatives. No specific hosts or special guests, including Nurse Alice Benjamin, Toquon the MC, or DJ ICY ICR, have been announced for this year’s event at this time.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for those with a similar mission to underscore Black Tech Link’s commitment to fostering economic growth through workforce development, technical training, and strategic networking.

Registration for the Community Health and STEM Fest is open at Black Tech Link Community Health and STEM Fest Registration.
