Feast of Fortunate 100: Sushi and Sake All-Stars Set to Unite for Wildfire Relief Benefit, Here’s How You Can Join Them

A constellation of L.A.’s finest Japanese chefs around the globe and premium sake brewers are set to converge at JAPAN HOUSE Los Angeles on Monday, June 9, 2025, for “Wildfire Relief,” a one-night-only charity event dedicated to aiding those impacted by the devastating January wildfires across California.

Their culinary hearts, beating in unison for a cause, are spearheaded by the Japanese Restaurant Association of America, who plan to present a lavish benefit to assist victims of the recent wildfires.

This evening promises an unparalleled immersion into Japanese gastronomy, featuring contributions from acclaimed establishments such as Kagura, Katsuya, Manpuku, Otafuku, and Shinsengumi. Guests will be treated to a feast for the senses, including artfully prepared sushi rolls and a spectacular giant sashimi boat showcasing high-quality seafood.

Complementing the culinary delights will be a premium sake tasting, offering rare and refined selections directly from Japan, as attendees utilize tasting vouchers to explore a variety of gourmet Japanese bites, highlighting regional favorites.
