Recognize any of downtown’s favorite chefs?
Taking place on October 6th on the observation deck of the Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites, this all-inclusive event will feature top downtown chefs Ben Diaz (formally of Nixo Lounge, currently at Cork Fire Kitchen), and Javier Lopez of 71Above.
Marcos & Nayomie Mendoza of Cuernavaca’s Grill join the festivities as well as a long list of beloved Los Angeles chefs.

Of course select cuts of marinated and BBQ beef, pork and bison top the list of foods that will touch the flame as the sunsets. Yet, guests should expect a hearty mix of chicken, lamb, seafood and… rabbit?

Brought to you by a21, the culinary event producer, Heritage Fire was established in 2010 offering a unique opportunity to experience honest food straight from local farms.
Celebrating pasture diversity and local family farms, the tour now visits fourteen cities across the United States, offering a one-of-a-kind outdoor bacchanal gastronomic spotlight on the hard-working people who are raising heritage-breed animals and sustainable produce.
Let your mouth be your guide!
After enjoying a taste of each dish, attendees will have the chance to vote for the “Best Bite of the Day” and crown a local chef the “Heritage Hero.”
Last year Chef Javiar Lopez of 71Above took home the prize.
