Little Tokyo Street Fair Returns with Spring Bringing a Full Day of Energy, Tradition and Expression

Little Tokyo has long stood as a cornerstone of Japanese American history, celebrating the legacy of the first Japanese Americans to reach our shores while welcoming the new age. On April 4, 2026, a seasonal fair known as the Little Tokyo Street Fair returns to transform the district, where art, food, and music fill the kiosk alongside the cobblestone passageway of historical Astronaut Ellison S. Onizuka Street in downtown Los Angeles.

With its mix of art, music, food, and culture, the Little Tokyo Street Fair continues to evolve into something bigger than a typical pop-up. As it returns this spring, it’s clear that the event isn’t just growing—it’s becoming a downtown staple.

Sharing the same location as Little Tokyo Weller’s Court, the location gives way to everything from all you can eat sushi, high spirit, karaoke, full surface Japanese grocery market, photo options, and more.

New and returning vendors include One Cup, Salted Cow, J Boss, Akira, D&G Toys, Kayekame, A Dose of Bliss, Huston Candles, From Flowers, Friendlies, Sanjicat, Yarn Noodles, Healing Crystals, Firey Fina, Kankungan Minizakis, and Light Me Up.

This event is presented in part by Kiosk Boys and sponsored by BOZU. Both are known for supporting local artists and building culturally driven experiences that spotlight emerging talent. Kiosk Boys have been successfully selling one-of-a-kind jackets, hoodies, and T-shirts since October 2020, amid the pandemic. Styles come in vivid colors where no two designs are alike, making each item as unique as the person wearing it.

Downtown’s Lucky Charm

Bozu Plants have been found to have a bit of magic of their own. Yukio from Bozu and his son and daughter have been teaming up to arrange exotic flora in handcrafted pots since 2019.

Ever wonder why some people thrive in the whirlwind of Downtown Los Angeles while others leave with tales of burnout and chaos? The city is a paradox of energy and exhaustion, a concrete jungle of dreams and deadlines….yet…
