
AbilityFirst just announced its 51st Annual Food & Wine Festival will be held for a second year in a row at the pristine Urquhart Residence in South Pasadena. This premier tasting event has brought together some of LA’s top performing restaurants, wineries, breweries, and distilleries including Pasadena locations of Downtown’s own El Cholo, Pez Cantina and Old Hillside Bourbon.

The AbilityFirst event presents an exceptional evening of flavors, entertainment, networking and philanthropy within its garden setting with rows of gourmet tasting options. Guests are seated for a champaign toast ask speakers take to the stage to exalt the past, present and future of the non profit.
For 99 years, AbilityFirst has helped children and adults with disabilities build confidence, skills, and independence to reach their full potential, while ensuring equitable access for those who are low income, come from diverse cultures, or speak languages other than English.

AbilityFirst provides a lifeline of stability for children and adults with autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and other IDDs, helping them build independence, create social connections, and achieve career goals.

Proceeds from this year’s Food & Wine Festival directly benefit AbilityFirst programs such as job training, career coaching, after-school enrichment & life skills development, and respite and recreational programs for individuals and caregivers.
