Lazy Dog Steps Up to the Plate Honoring Veterans with Complimentary Fireside Favorites and S’more Sundaes

This fall, nothing feels more quintessentially All-American than watching the Los Angeles Dodgers win the World Series while enjoying the perfect stadium combo, a Dodger Dog and an ice-cold beer!

Yet, for those of us unable to make it to the stadium, it feels good to know we can always enjoy watching the game, play-by-play as the incomparable Shohei Ohtani hits a home run out of the stadium while taking a bite of any of the delicious menu items at Lazy Dog at LA LIVE.

As All-American as America Gets

Inspired by the lifestyle of the Rocky Mountains where Founder Chris Simms grew up, Lazy Dog offers scratch American food and drink with seasonally inspired ingredients in an environment that provides the warmth and care of a small mountain town. It’s the perfect setting for a quick weeknight dinner, a meandering meal with old friends, or a big night out.

This spirit of community and tradition, the very essence of the “All-American” experience, extends beyond baseball into the most important national holiday this season: Veterans Day.

Lazy Dog is committed to honoring this deep American tradition with a special commitment to those who served. In honor of Veterans Day, the restaurant will give a free Fireside Favorite entrée and a complimentary S’mores Brownie Sundae to all active and retired military personnel from November 10 through November 12th.

Fireside Chats at Lazy Dog are so…

The “Fireside Favorite” menu offers a diverse selection of handcrafted, comforting entrees, ensuring every veteran finds a dish to enjoy. For those craving a rich, classic American flavor, there’s the BBQ Bison Meatloaf, a robust blend of all-natural Durham Ranch grass-raised Wyoming bison and Wagyu beef, wrapped in smoked bacon and topped with a savory BBQ sauce.

Another standout comfort dish is the Fried Chicken Dinner, a buttermilk-dipped boneless chicken breast served with creamy red skin potato mash, white gravy, and a side of sautéed spinach with smoked bacon. If one prefers a lighter, more vibrant flavor profile, the Mediterranean Chicken Bowl is a great choice, featuring a grilled lemon chicken breast, yellow rice, a fresh tomato-cucumber-feta salad, kalamata olives, tzatziki sauce, and spring pea hummus.

Rounding out the options are the creamy, satisfying Fettuccine Alfredo and the unique Loco Moco Fried Rice, a wok-fired dish with shaved hickory-smoked ham and seasoned ground beef, topped with a sunny-side-up egg and served with a housemade teriyaki gravy.

Let’s think about dessert! lazy Dog’s S’mores Brownie Sundae is a personal-sized treat featuring a chocolate chip brownie, graham cracker crust, chocolate sauce, toasted marshmallow, and vanilla bean ice cream.
