In support of LA first responders and the Pasadena Community Foundation, Los Angeles Magazine will present Angels of Comedy, an unforgettable night of laughter and giving back.
Set to take place on Thursday, February 13th, 2025, from 6:00pm to 10:00pm at Engine Co. No. 28—one of the city’s oldest firehouses, located just north of Figueroa and 7th and home to Los Angeles Magazine offices above—this comedy benefit will raise vital funds to support victims of the devastating Los Angeles wildfires.
Take a bite!
What better place to say thank you to firefighters and first responders than inside a 100-year-old firehouse that shares the history of the city?
All-inclusive tickets include entry, Firehouse chili and cornbread, cocktails, wine, beer, non-alcoholic beverages, and a full evening of comedy.
Sharon Fredrickson will host the evening, guiding audiences through a lineup of stand-up performances from Aida Rodriguez, Ashley Burgess, Carla Collins, Erik Rivera, Kim McVicar, Kwame Siegel, Renee Percy, Sandy Stec, Maxi Witrak, and Peter S. Kim.
Feelin’ Lucky?
In addition to the laughs, the evening will feature an exclusive raffle, where attendees can win once-in-a-lifetime prizes while the event honors LA First Responders with a full tribute sharing their inspiring stories and recognizing their heroism.
“After witnessing the devastation caused by these fires, I knew we needed to do more than just donate. Angels of Comedy is about coming together as a community to heal, laugh, and rebuild,” states Sharon Fredrickson.
LA Mag encourages comedy lovers to support Los Angeles Fire Relief by purchasing tickets and raffle tickets for a chance to win incredible prizes and to spread the word.
“Los Angeles has always been a city of resilience. This event brings our community together through comedy and generosity to support those who need it most. Let’s stay LA Strong,” says Chris Gialanella, President & Publisher of LA Mag.
