Waves of brightly colored jerseys flocked to the Los Angeles Coliseum for the FIFA World Cup 26 Fan Festival. From June 11–14, FIFA fans immersed themselves on the Coliseum playing field, watching their favorite teams while enjoying live music, global cuisine, and interactive brand activations. FIFA 2026 is the largest edition of the tournament yet, featuring 48 teams competing in 104 matches. Sixteen cities were selected to host matches, with Los Angeles at the forefront. From the tournament’s first whistle on June 11th to the final kick on July 19th, the FIFA Fan Festival offers one of the most accessible and exciting experiences outside of the World Cup itself.

Once inside the arena, it is impossible not to feel like a professional athlete. The Coliseum is home to USC’s Trojan Football team and remains the only facility in the world to host two Olympiads (X and XXIII), two Super Bowls (I and VII), and one World Series (1959). Inspired by the passion and diversity of Los Angeles, this official FIFA event brings high-energy live broadcasts of every match played throughout the weekend, giving fans an opportunity to celebrate together while learning about the cultures represented throughout the tournament—many of which reflect the communities that make Los Angeles so unique. Featured matches during opening weekend included Mexico vs. South Africa, USA vs. Paraguay, Brazil vs. Morocco, and Germany vs. Curaçao.

The theme of international and local celebration continued through the festival’s culinary offerings, featuring vendors from around the world. As the gastro-curators of this highly anticipated event, Legends Concessions wanted attendees to experience the cuisines of the countries competing on screen in real time. Global specialties included Brazilian pastéis and pão de queijo, South African bunny chow and pap & chakalaka, Moroccan shawarma and couscous bowls, German currywurst, Japanese sushi, Korean BBQ-inspired bites, Mexican street food favorites, and classic American stadium fare.

Los Angeles was just as equally well represented in the kitchen. Legendary food truck Kogi, founded by Roy Choi, served its iconic Korean BBQ tacos that blend Korean and Mexican influences. Cuernavaca’s Grill brought traditional Mexican cuisine rooted in Los Angeles Chicano history, while Fry Day Food Truck offered loaded fries perfect for sharing. Woman-owned Aji Mori House elevated the experience with omakase offerings, and Cathy’s Cookies provided the perfect handheld dessert to conclude a global culinary journey.

Once your international hunger is satiated, let the interactive activities begin. Guests were encouraged to participate in hands-on experiences hosted by FIFA World Cup commercial partners, Los Angeles Host City supporters, clubs, and media organizations. From face paint to aviation, there was an activation for every age and interest. The “Get Ready with Coca-Cola” activation featured face paint, temporary tattoos, giveaways, and themed styling stations, while Kia offered a custom player-card photo experience and Bank of America invited guests to create personalized charm bracelets.

Soccer fans could test their skills through challenges hosted by LAFC and Telemundo, browse exclusive merchandise at the Official FIFA Retail Store presented by Fanatics, and recharge in wellness-focused spaces from Kaiser Permanente and Amgen featuring recovery, conditioning, and relaxation zones. Showcasing Los Angeles innovation, Archer Aviation displayed its Midnight eVTOL aircraft, offering a glimpse into the future of urban transportation. Additional photo opportunities, live music, giveaways, branded installations, and surprise appearances kept the festival atmosphere energized from start to finish.

Designed for fans of all ages, the FIFA Fan Festival is where sport, entertainment, culture, and community come together to create one of the most dynamic fan experiences of FIFA World Cup 2026. Whether guests are cheering on their favorite national team, sampling international cuisine, exploring interactive activations, or connecting with fellow supporters from around the world, the festival offers something for everyone. More than just a place to watch soccer, the FIFA Fan Festival serves as a celebration of unity, diversity, and the shared passion that brings communities together through the beautiful game.
